Our Community Page
Giving back to those in need, you do make a difference by touching someone.

Today Dutchy and I delivered items to five locations. While at the NH Veterans Home, we met with Valerie and Patty. We showed them what we brought. Valerie asked, and we consented, to have her take a picture of us with some of the quilts and pillowcases. She wanted to post the picture on their website. Everyone today was so appreciative of the donations.
It not only blesses their hearts to receive this gifts from the guild but it also blesses all of our hearts who give.
With heart filled thanks,
Roxanne and Dutchy

PILLOWCASES
Here's the latest on the guild pillowcases. Over the years 100's of pillowcases have been delivered to the pediatric unit at Concord Hospital. They were pleased to increase their supply. On our summer sit and sew, Joyce Lemay and I completed 8 cases. Also, I have 6 cases for a nursing home. When we meet in September, I will have kits ready for anyone who would like to make a pillowcase. You can also use your own fabric We're happy to receive your donations. They are for a very worthy cause.

PLACEMATS
We make placemats for Meals on Wheels, here are just a few samples. We do enjoy bringing a little sunshine into these folk's lives. We have supplied 100's over the years
Spring is just around the corner - a great time to use up floral scraps and bright colors to make festive placemats
for the people who receive Meals on Wheels. Think how much it will brighten their day! And thank you in
advance.
Julia Miller,

FIDGET QUILTS
We are also making Fidget quilts for patients with Dementia and Alsheimer's. The nursing homes love to give them out to the patients. It gives them something to do with their hands. From large buttons, zippers and things that dangle.

BACKPACKS
The holiday time is stressful for individuals as well as families. We have supplied McKenna House with stocking for children and backpacks for teens and adults. These are filled not only with necessities but fun things too.
To give to others is a blessing not only for those receiving but also those of us that are so willing to give material, time and gifts to others.
